Comedian Norman Pace will star in an anniversary tour of a Sixties hit musical.
A Slice Of Saturday Night, which opened at the Strand Theatre in the West End ten years ago, arrives in Worthing in October.
Written by the Heather Brothers, the musical is based on their collective experience of being teenagers in the Sixties.
Pace, of comedy duo Hale and Pace, will follow in the footsteps of Gary Glitter, Alvin Stardust and Jess Conrad in the part of Eric Rubberlegs Levene.
He said: "It is the simple tale of teenagers looking for love which has been the enduring success of the piece."
The cast features television actors Sandra Huggett and Emily Dormer, from Casualty, Terry Burns, from Family Affairs, and Laurie Hagen, from Night and Day.
A tour spokeswoman said: "Michael Palin once commented A Slice Of Saturday Night should be available on the National Health Service."
The show will be performed at the Pavilion Theatre, Worthing, from October 31 to November 2.
Tickets cost £14.50 to £18.50. There is an offer of £2.50 off all tickets on the opening night or on Saturday, November 2, at 5.30pm. Call 01903 206206 for tickets.
