A former bank manager who became a bingo caller is hoping his number comes up after being nominated for a national prize.
Graham Wibrew just missed out on the title Bingo Caller of the Year last year.
He could hit the jackpot this time around after being shortlisted for the second year running.
Graham, from Broadoak, Crawley, began calling bingo numbers part-time in 1979 and went full-time after leaving his job as a bank manager ten years later.
He works at the Gala Bingo Club in Queensway, Crawley.
Graham, 48, impressed judges with a video showing how he woos punters with his sense of humour and his clear calling voice.
Tony Niamath, manager at the club, said: "He very professional with great calling technique which makes him very popular with the players.
"He is the perfect ambassador for bingo."
Graham will be up against four other contenders at the regional final at Gala Bingo Club, Brighton, on October 4.
The winner will go forward to the national final in London.
