I write on behalf of Brighton and Hove Green Party Animal Rights Group to express our extreme disappointment at the outcome of the meeting between the Badger Federation and Defra at Brighton Town Hall.
We understand Defra did not provide the information requested by the Badger Federation so the situation remains a stalemate.
What a waste of everyone's time, effort, energy and money.
We also understand Defra will not provide the information prior to the next meeting. Why not?
Surely it doesn't want to waste everyone's time and effort again? Withholding information prior to meetings disadvantages the other party. Is this the idea?
How can the badger groups plan and propose a carefully thought-through, realistic suggestion unless they have all the facts to work with?
