The London-to-Brighton old crocks' run is as popular as ever, as proved by the crowds who gathered at the finish in Brighton on Sunday.
After an hour of torrential rain early in the morning, the sky cleared and gave the competitors a bright, sunny day.
Lords from Scotland and England, enthusiasts from America, France and Germany and an 87-year-old British man were among the many veteran drivers who brought their character vehicles into the city.
It was a happy throng of cosmopolitan people who gathered at Madeira Drive and made the Brighton visit, for me, a great day out.
