Police investigating the death of a teenager who climbed on to a train roof after the Lewes bonfire celebrations are appealing for witnesses.
The 18-year-old died instantly after climbing through the window of a moving train on to its roof just before it went under a bridge.
British Transport Police are not treating his death as suspicious but need passengers of the 9.23pm Hastings-Victoria train to contact them with information.
The victim, from Plumpton, was found dead on the line between Cooksbridge and Plumpton after his friends pulled the communication cord to raise the alarm.
Inspector Gary Ancell said: "The train was pretty full. We believe there are people who have information."
The boy's family were yesterday expected to identify his body. His identity is due to be released later today.
Anyone with information should call 0800 405040.
