Worthing Thunder have been warned they face no easy task if they are to make up for league disappointment by reaching the NBL Trophy semis.
Thunder, beaten at home by Sutton in their first conference clash last week, host lower division Worcester Wolves in Saturday's Trophy quarter-final.
They start as favourites to win but coach Gary Smith has warned them to forget about an easy passage into the last four.
Smith said: "These guys have beaten Plymouth to get here so we must respect them.
"Their coach Jim Smith was a pretty good player I used to come up against when I was at Calderdale and I have played against their guard Rick Solvason, who has a hairpin trigger and can really shoot the ball.
"We have got players battling for spots though and we definitely have a point to prove. I'm not just looking for a win, I want us to win convincingly."
Daniel Hildreth is back to fitness but Smith has hinted young Rani Malik may keep his starting spot.
Brighton Cougars are buzzing after overturning a five-point half-time deficit to win 73-58 at Portsmouth last week.
The game was cut short in the fourth quarter due to moisture on the court.
Steve McQueen hit 28 points, including the three-pointer which dragged Cougars level at the very end of the third quarter but there were good contributions all through the team.
