A revamp of two sports pavilions in Storrington is due to begin.
Storrington Football Club, Vipers Youth Football Club and the cricket club, which are all based at the leisure centre in Spierbridge Road, will all benefit from the £350,000 project, starting on Monday.
The pavilion used by the two football clubs will be transformed into two storeys and will have shower and changing facilities and a small social area.
A new roof will be built on the cricket club's pavilion and the inside will also be refurbished.
The money for the improvements has been allocated by Storrington Parish Council and through a grant from the Football Stadia Improvement Fund.
Parish clerk Paul Devlin said: "The main thing about it is it will give both clubs and the wider community much improved sports facilities, both social and training. At the moment both pavilions are very inadequate."
The work is due to be completed by the end of February.
