Crawley captain Peter Fear is relishing another chance of FA Cup glory tomorrow.
One of the highlights of his career was playing for Wimbledon against Chelsea in the 1996-97 semi-final, the same season Crawley last reached the first round proper.
It will be a far cry from that White Hart Lane afternoon in front of 35,000 when Fear leads out Crawley at Tiverton in tomorrow's first round encounter.
But Fear still gets excited by the FA Cup and believes tomorrow's winners have a great chance of reaching the third round and the opportunity of playing against a Premiership side.
He said: "One of my mates in the game is Alan Reeves who was with me at Wimbledon. He's at Swindon now and they've got Huddersfield away tomorrow.
"When you look at that and our game then you've got to say I've got a better chance of getting to the third round than he has.
"I love the FA Cup. If we go out tomorrow it will be dissapointing, but at least we've had a good run. But I think whoever wins will be thinking they only have to have a bit of luck with the draw in the next round and all of a sudden you could find yourself in the third round and then anything can happen."
Tiverton moved above Crawley in the Dr Martens League table after beating Bath 1-0 on Tuesday, but the sides look evenly matched and Reds have won both previous meetings including a 2-0 success at Ladysmead last season.
Fear believes his team-mates will be spurred on by the memory of last weekend's disappointing performance in the 2-0 home defeat by Hinckley.
"It could be just the gee-up we need," he said. "It was a poor performance by everyone, myself included, but it won't affect how we play tomorrow, in fact just the opposite.
"At training this week everyone has been flying and we're really looking forward to the game now."
Reds will be supported by around 400 fans who are heading to Devon tomorrow in a convoy of coaches and cars. The team leave tonight and will stay in Taunton before making their way to Tiverton in the morning.
