It was good to see Labour MP Des Turner at the Remembrance Sunday ceremony in Peacehaven while his wife, Lynn, represented him at the Brighton ceremony.
Many people will have been pleased to see Dr Turner joining local residents in paying their respects to the men and women from the Peacehaven area who are counted among the dead or who suffered physical or mental injuries while serving their country in many conflicts during the past 100 years.
