My mother had a fall. She is 90. They listened, they reassured, they joked, they tested, they combed her hair.
They treated her with as much care as they would a newly-born baby; offered her as much dignity as they would to royalty. There may be long waiting lists on the NHS but at Brighton's A&E there is only efficiency and love.
