Eastbourne Borough keeper Dean Lightwood made a howler as his side lost 2-1 to Banbury United at Priory Lane in the eastern division.
Banbury were leading 1-0 when two minutes after half time the division's top scorer Norman Sylla broke into the box.
His chip looked easy for Lightwood, but the keeper somehow let the ball slip through his hands to gift Banbury the goal that proved to be the difference between the sides.
It was another game that Borough completely dominated but they could not score and make their possession count.
Andy Ducille and Scott Ramsay both went close for Borough before Matt Crabb nearly deceived visiting keeper Simon Tricker with a cross that just curled wide.
But on 36 minutes, the home side received a shock when Banbury scored totally against the run of play.
A Jimmy Simpson free kick somehow found its way to George Redknapp, who headed home from five yards out.
Lightwood made his clanger just after the break and it was now an uphill struggle for the home side.
They continued to dominate and on 62 minutes Ramsay made it seven goals in four games with a cool finish.
But after that, Borough could not find a way past Tricker and the visitors took all three points.
