A coachload of Sir Cliff Richard fans are going on a winter holiday - to follow their idol around Europe.
Next month's trip organised by Ray Williams, will emulate the double-decker jaunt around the Continent featured in Sir Cliff's 1963 film Summer Holiday - but it will be a little chillier But Ray and her 27 fellow travellers will guarantee Sir Cliff a warm reception as they watch him perform in Holland, Belgium, Germany and Denmark.
The trip, from December 2 to December 11, will be the sixth tour Ray and her daughter Colette have organised since 1987.
Ray said: "The first time we went, there were 12 of us. Now there are people who come every time."
The flat Ray and Colette share in Orchard Road, Horsham, is a shrine to Sir Cliff, with pictures of him everywhere except the kitchen.
Ray, in her late 70s, became a fan 33 years ago when Colette started going to concerts at the age of 12.
The pair have since travelled across Europe and beyond, following the self-styled Bachelor Boy as far away as Dubai.
Ray said: "Sir Cliff is a nice person. He has got a sense of humour.
"It is not just Sir Cliff. It is all of his fans. They are all lovely people. I have made some lovely friends over the years."
We reported on Saturday how Lorraine Winthorpe-Tyers travelled 200 miles from Leicester to see Sir Cliff perform at the Brighton Centre last week, 41 years after she met him backstage at a show she failed to see.
