Roger Dean was the little known artist behind riotous album covers for veteran rockers Yes and Asia. Now, he's planning a village for the future.
Curved walls, domed ceilings and bubble-shaped rooms have made his Teletubby-style buildings capture the imagination.
But what may appear to be a fantasy world is rooted in reality as Mr Dean believes they could become the way of life for the next generation.
He has developed a model sustainable eco-village called Willowater which couldl include affordable energy efficient homes, shops, a primary school and a community centre.
With plans in place, Mr Dean from Lewes and his project co-ordinator John Talbot, are now looking for a suitable site to develop.
They also hope to gain support from a forward-thinking planning authority.
Mr Dean, 58, said: "It could be a complete community within a self-contained village or a more urban setting.
"We originally thought it might make a holiday village but it came as a wonderful surprise when people said they would like to live in it."
