Worthing Thunder were close to their best offensively as they overcame visitors Oxford Devils in the NBL Conference.
They led 32-20 at the first interval, 50-46 at the half and 86-81 going into the last ten minutes.
That was despite the absence of Damien Harris and the late arrival of Nick O'Harabe. both due to transport problems.
Daniel Hildreth turned in some eyecatching statistics in an impressive 20-point display.
He hit all six of his two-point attempts, scored with his only three-point shot and was five-of-six at the free throw line.
The former Bears skipper also had four steals and six assists before fouling out.
Lavoris Jerry came strong late on to total 32 points, including three trademark dunks.
Gaylon Moore was a key figure in Thunder's bright opening and finished with nine rebounds while Marvin Addy delighted the crowd with a big dunk.
Thunder could be coming into form at the right time for their trophy semi-final at home to Plymouth in a fortnight's time. Before that they have a Conference game at Ware next Saturday.
Thunder: Jerry 32, Moore 29, Hildreth 20, Addy 13, O'Harabe 6, Brame 6, Malik 6.
