Gavin Geddes scored all the goals as Horsham romped to a 4-0 win over bottom placed Chertsey to maintain their promotion push in Division One South.
The Hornets dominated the game from start to finish and the contest was effectively over when Geddes completed his hat-trick inside the opening 20 minutes.
The Sussex side took the lead after 16 minutes. James Grant fired in a low cross from near the left corner spot and the ball evaded David Flemming and the Chertsey defence to reach the centrally-placed Geddes who crashed it into the goal from 10 yards.
Three minutes later the Hornets doubled their lead. Flemming battled well for the ball on the right flank and lifted a neat pass across the penalty area which Geddes collected at the far post to slot the ball past goalkeeper Paul Seuke from a tight angle.
Geddes completed his hat-trick on 19 minutes. Flemming again produced a perfect cross from the right flank and Geddes guided his header into precisely the same spot.
By the time the fourth goal arrived in the 54th minute, Horsham might well have ran up a cricket score. Substitute Rob Collins battled well to win the ball on the right and he drilled a low, angled ball into the area which Geddes again converted at the far post.
Manager John Maggs was content. "Overall, I'm happy with that. We got four and it could have been more and we worked hard and played well," he said.
"We did what we had to do, won convincingly and recorded our third clean sheet on the spin. There was a different attitude out there again."
