Haywards Heath can make it a near-perfect ten by boosting their London One title aspirations with a win over Cheshunt tomorrow.

Heath run out for their 11th and last home game of 2002 having already enjoyed nine wins at Whitemans Green in the calendar year.

Another home victory will see them continue to turn up the heat on leaders Southend, particularly if the top team slip-up.

Apart from one blemish early in the year to Basingstoke, when they let slip a winning position in the last ten minutes, Heath have been unstoppable on home turf and skipper Alex Meredith sees no reason why that should change against a side they beat away recently.

He said: "We know we cannot be complacent but we are strong at home and we cannot afford to slip-up.

"We seem to be improving most weeks, at least in the league games. Last week at Staines was the best 60 minutes of rugby we have played this season."

Flanker Tom Hills, one of the stars last week, is unavailable for tomorrow's game so Damien Lyall is recalled to the back row.

Andy Cook and Giles Goodburn are also ruled out in the back line.

Meanwhile, Worthing can stretch their lead in London Two South though they face a testing afternoon at Cobham, who are fifth in the table.

Cobham beat Tunbridge Wells last week, allowing Worthing to move two points clear with an advantage of 100 in the points difference column compared to their Kent rivals.

Flanker Jodie Levett is rested after taking a blow to the ear in last week's thrashing of Andover. Jamie Newhouse takes his place in the back row.

Coach Ian Davies said: "Cobham came to our place when they were depleted but they will clearly be a different proposition this time."

Brighton have made a habit of playing teams in the top two of late and nothing changes as they take on second-placed Dartfordians. They will hope for, but are unlikely to receive, a helping hand from Eastbourne, who have major injury headaches ahead of the home game with leaders Sidcup.

It is derby day in London Four South East and Bognor can do themselves and the rest of the division a huge favour by winning at leaders Chichester.

They have suffered a setback with the unavailability of Australian outside half Luke Sullivan, who had been running into some decent form, but skipper Karl Flynn is convinced they can do it. He said: "I think we will do really well in the forwards. Hopefully we get a bit more ball than when they beat us at our place recently."

Tom Spurle takes over at No.10, Mark Gordon moves forward into the centre and Darren Brown takes the vacant full back spot.

Chichester's side has a settled look about it and they have added experience since the recent returns of prop Jim Hooton and centre Simon Bradford.

Hove have selection problems ahead of the trip to Folkestone with at least three of their named XV rated doubtful. Flanker Kev Long is definitely out so former skipper John Oades earns a recall.
