I was very interested to read Billy Dann's views on sexual infections (Letters, December 6). I have a regular check-up at Brighton's Claude Nichol clinic.
I agree with Mr Dann the staff are first-class. You do have to wait to be seen but I have been there when I have seen the top female consultant, had my investigation done by the head nurse, a Geordie chap, had my results and been in and out in one hour.
The last time I went, the doctor was a young Scottish chap who spent a good 30 minutes sorting out my problems. He was first-class but when I came out the male waiting room was full, with standing room only.
The Claude Nichol clinic is the best in the South.
You see patients from Eastbourne, Worthing and Crawley there. The problem is lack of space. I do not think Brighton Health Care Trust wants to make it too comfortable for us.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and receptionists at the Claude Nichol clinic and a happy Christmas to you.
