Bobby Zamora gave Steve Coppell a scare ahead of the showdown with Leicester after missing yesterday's training session.
The Albion hitman was suffering with a stomach upset, but he is expected to be fine for Micky Adams' return to Withdean on Friday night.
The latest bulletin on long-time absentee Paul Kitson is less encouraging.
The former West Ham forward was due to return from back surgery in the reserves at Peterborough yesterday until damaging a groin in training last Friday.
Steve Melton is still on course for a free transfer move to Hull which would incorporate a sell-on clause for the Seagulls.
Melton's month on loan to Peter Taylor's team ends this weekend.
Coppell said: "Melts has obviously got to agree to it, but I spoke to Peter last week and he's been pleased with what he has done.
"Hull move into a new home this week, so it's exciting times at that club."
