Keith Price led Sussex to victory in their County Championship clash with Buckinghamshire.
Price produced a man of the match performance to win his game in straight sets with a 28.90 average.
It was an inspirational effort by the Brighton player who had to play with borrowed arrows after he snapped a stem in one of his darts just before his game.
Price was the only Sussex winner in the first four games of the deciding men's match, but four more wins followed to make the final score 20-16.
Gary Dellow, with a 25.39 game, Simon Wood (24.25) and John Nisbet (26.71) got the points needed to clinch vic-tory, and Ken Sowerby (23.40) added another.
Sussex have now won their last two matches, and they will be boosted further by winning away to Buckinghamshire, who were third in the table.
Both ladies' teams drew their matches 3-3, while the men's B team were in trem-endous form, winning 9-3 to give Sussex a six-point over-night lead.
Mick Rodgers was man of the match with a 25.05 average, and there were wins for James West (24.96), James Greenfield (24.64), David Hauxwell (23.74), Adrian Boyle (23.23), Andrew Sexton (20.75), Jason Hills (22.05), James Stephenson (23.90) and Michael Hammond (23.45).
Rhonda West was top lady with a 19.52 average, with the other A team victories coming from Sue Bird (16.12) and Karen Winter (17.74).
Glenys Laker was best for the B team with a 19.27 ave-rage, while Sussex's other points came from Tina Mc-Govern and Lucy Johnson.
Keith Price was also the star man in the latest round of Sussex Super League matches.
He registered his second man of the match award in four matches this season as Brighton demolished Beven-dean 10-1.
Price hit a 29.98 average, which included three maxi-mums, while Rod Hawkins claimed two maximums, and Rhonda West won her fourth successive lady of the match award.
Brighton are the runaway leaders of the East Division, while Littlehampton Tower A are looking good in the West Division.
They whipped Littlehamp-ton Crown 9-2, with Simon Wood and Lee Gladman check-ing out in their pairs game with a 30.36 average.
