Well, it is a certainty the lunatics are in charge of the asylum.
I refer, of course, to the so-called learned friend the Lord Chief Justice, Lord Woolf.
So, burglars are not to go to prison. I can only hope Lord Woolf is burgled, his house ransacked and the sentimental things accrued over the years go forever.
Then he might not be so stupidly lenient. I will invoke the Magna Carta, where every Englishman has a right to defend his castle.
Should I be given the chance, a burglar will not go to prison, he will be hospitalised.
