The partial collapse and impending destruction of the West Pier Ballroom is yet another damning comment on the incompetence and inability of those authorities we supposedly trust to safeguard our national heritage.
Would we allow a cathedral or other significant, land-based Grade I listed monument to simply fall to pieces?
Shame on those whose wanton neglect and bureaucratic bumblings have let
this happen.
