A police officer was killed as he drove home after working on New Year's Eve.
Tokunbo Ezobi, 25, who had a young family, transferred from Sussex Police to the Metropolitan force in September.
He was driving home towards Brighton and Hove when his green Peugeot 406 collided with the central barrier on the Bolney flyover just after 3am.
The car veered into the opposite lane of the A23 and ended up on its roof.
Police said he may have fallen asleep at the wheel.
PC Ezobi had just finished a shift at Brixton police station where he was based.
Witnesses should contact the Road Policing Unit at Haywards Heath 0845 6070 999.
