A couple of years back, while walking along Portland Road, Hove, I noticed on the corner of that road and Tamworth Road is a church with a very tall tower and some unusual cornices at the top.
The sun was going down in the west and shining through the top of the tower. I noticed at the same time the unusual light patterns it was making towards the east.
