Worthing Thunder coach Gary Smith has turned up the training tempo ahead of his side's NBL Trophy final with Teesside.
Smith supervised a team work out yesterday and could fit in four more sessions ahead of the NIA showdown next weekend.
The side will get together tomorrow, on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday before heading to the midlands for next Sunday's clash.
It will be Thunder's first match since their shocking pre-Christmas defeat at Solent.
Smith said: "We will have to be at the top of our game. We can't play like we did in some games and certainly not like we did at Solent.
"We will need to get up and down the court and play as a team in the half-court situation. That means helping each other defensively, which we were doing at the start of the season."
The Thunder coach was pleased with his side's semi-final display in beating Plymouth though not so impressed with a narrow win over Manchester which preceded the trip to Eastleigh.
He added: "That's how basketball goes. You can be playing well for four or five games but then have one game where, even if you win, you might feel within yourself that you did not really do that well."
