I have many happy memories of the West Pier. It used to be a beautiful building.
One of my memories is of taking my son on it and seeing his face light up at the beauty of it.
However, having already spent so much money on it with no apparent effect, what is planned to be spent could be put to much better use.
Perhaps a thought should be given to our elderly and homeless people instead of an elderly structure and homeless starlings.
You have a lovely city and I am sure you are all proud of it but what impression must it give to visitors to see this blot on the landscape?
Please get the priorities right and help people in need and not buildings.
