Christmas park and ride services in Worthing have been hailed a success.
The town's executive for environment Peter Green is expected to note that the temporary 2002 bus service, from Teville Gate car park to South Street, met all expectations and operated within its budget.
The service runs each year to help take the pressure off parking in the town centre and encourage use of the Teville Gate site.
Compass Travel won the bid to deliver the two-bus service on the four Saturdays prior to Christmas at a cost of £2,080.
The total cost to Worthing Borough Council for operating the service, including advertising, was about £3,500.
