A 60-year-old man has been killed in a road accident at Peacehaven.
It happened shortly before 8pm on Sunday in South Coast Road.
The man, a pedestrian, was in collision with a Nissan Serena car as it approached the roundabout at the junction with Telscombe Cliffs Way.
The pedestrian, a local man, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, where it was confirmed that he had died from his injuries.
The road was closed for two hours while crash investigators examined the scene.

The driver of the Nissan, a 36 year old woman from Hove, was unhurt.
