With reference to the feature about the demolition of St Paul's church hall, Worthing, and the renovation of the church, I was very interested to see reference made to the removal of various fittings and am wondering what has happened to the processional cross which used to precede the choir and clergy round the church at the beginning of each service?
In my days in the choir (1944-51) this was carried by the senior bass, Mr Frank Knoxon, and remains a vivid memory nearly 60 years later.
Can someone tell me where this most notable artefact has ended up?
