Issues affecting Portuguese people living in Littlehampton are to be the subject of a public meeting.
The meeting, which will be held completely in Portuguese, is believed to be the first of its kind in the town and will give residents the chance to talk about social and healthcare problems.
Interpreters will be on hand to translate Portuguese into English.
It has been organised by Adur, Arun and Worthing NHS Primary Care Trust (PCT).
Among those attending will be local police, council officials, health workers, schools and social services.
Gill Blackwood, community development co-ordinator at the PCT and one of the organisers, said: "We are really hoping that many people from this community will be able to come.
"There is a great deal of commitment from the organisations involved to make this work."
Proposed topics include housing, education, healthcare, leisure, community safety and employment.
The meeting will be held St Catherine's Church Hall in Littlehampton on Saturday at 4.30pm.
A Portuguese party will be held afterwards.
