Brighton-based amateur dramatic opera company The Wandering Minstrels perform this classic Sondheim musical about the demon barber Of Fleet Street.
Set in Victorian London, it's a macabre tragi-comedy based on the legend of a mad 19th-Century English barber.
He is driven to crime when his wife and child are taken from him by an evil judge.
Unjustly imprisoned, Todd eventually escapes and vows bring to justice not only the judge who destroyed his life but all the people of London.
To this end, he forms a partnership with Mrs Lovett, an enterprising barmistress whose meat pies soon become the tastiest in London ...
Starts 7.45pm, tickets £8/7. Call 01273 709709.
