Carlo Missirian insists his Brighton team will not become complacent in their pursuit of the Kent/Sussex Regional League title.
Brighton enter the second half of the season eight points clear at the top of the table but skipper Missirian says the team knows the job is only half done.
Missirian said: "One of the great things of our team over the last three and a half years is that there has never been any complacency.
"We know that is vital even more so this year. The way the league is panning out, there are so many teams who could get sucked into the relegation issue and that means there will be no easy games.
"We are really pleased with the gap we have created. The key thing is our performances against the three teams below us. We have won away to all of them and we have still got to play them at home."
Brighton are at full strength for tomorrow's visit of Horsham, which launches the second half of the campaign.
Horsham have lost James Beer, who has moved to New York since the end of the first half of the campaign ended. His departure will mean Hamish White will feature much more in the coming months, although he is unavailable for tomorrow's game.
Mid Sussex start back away to Gillingham Anchorians and they have high hopes for the remainder of the programme.
Skipper Andy Green said: "After a promising first half to the season, we are looking to consolidate our position and try to finish in the top four.
"We are looking to improve our consistency and ultimately try to pick up as many points as possible."
Worthing, who play host to Folkestone, are also in positive mood for the second half of the season.
Team manager Rob Warner said: "I think we can have a better half than the first half. We didn't do too badly but we feel we can improve on it.
"If we can get a settled side we can definitely improve on last season's tally of points."
Mark Minchell is available but Worthing choose from an otherwise full strength squad. Chris Sciandro plays his last game before returning to university.
A familiar face will be missing for Chichester as they entertain Old Georgians in the Southern Premier.
Henry Stremes has retired after 17 years with the first team, his final match being the pre-Christmas draw with high-flying Oxted.
Three teams are in HA Vase action on Sunday with Penguin hosting University of London at Durrington Leisure Centre while Crawley and Eastbourne are away to Old Midwhitgiftians and Devizes respectively.
