Bobby Zamora has put questions over his future on the backburner to concentrate on upsetting Portsmouth.

Tomorrow's showdown is the Seagulls' last match before the end of January, when the transfer window shuts for Premiership clubs.

Top scorer Zamora admitted: "I'm always thinking about my future", but added he has "no idea" whether he will be moving.

Six-goal Zamora is eager to test his skills against the table-toppers after injury ruled him out of Albion's 4-2 defeat at Fratton Park in August.

"I missed out against them last time, so I'm looking forward to this one," he said. "It's going to be a tough game. They are not up there at the top for nothing.

"If we go out there, work hard and put a good performance in anything can happen. It has obviously been a disappointing week for the players but things have been picking up. We've been getting points on the board, so it isn't too bad.

"It's a bit disheartening that we haven't moved up a few places. All we have to do is keep digging in and hopefully things will turn. The team spirit is definitely still there."

Steve Sidwell, scorer of Albion's last three goals in the League has left for Reading, but Zamora is untroubled by a run of one goals in his last 11 games.

"I can only do what I can and the rest of the lads are trying to get on the scoreboard," he said.
