Peacehaven moved out of the bottom two after a 2-2 draw at home to fellow strugglers Selsey.

Sixteen-year-old Rob Brown twice put Peacehaven ahead but Paul Lee replied on each occasion, with his second equaliser coming five minutes from time.

Brown also hit a post with the score at 2-1 and team-mate Danny Hamilton had an effort disallowed at the same stage.

Selsey boss Danny Hinshelwood said: "We were rusty and didn't perform at all well. We got a point when we played like a pub side."

Redhill slipped back into the relegation places after a 4-0 defeat at Hailsham.

All the goals came in the second half with Matt Smith (2), Scott French and Ross Southwood finding the target.

Littlehampton remain bottom and seemingly doomed after a 5-1 defeat at Chichester.

Sixteen-year-old substitute Chris Cousins rounded off victory for Chi with a goal on his senior debut. Paul Thomas and Roger Moore scored two apiece while Jan Miller replied.

Russell Eldridge scored in the first minute as Sidley grabbed an impressive 1-0 win at Horsham YMCA.

Eldridge fired a 25-yard free-kick into the bottom corner and Sidley were solid at the back for the rest of the contest.

Boss Peter Heritage said: "It was backs against the wall but we played well defensively and I thought we could have scored again towards the end."

Chris Johnson scored a goal-of-the-season contender to round off Ringmer's 3-0 win at East Preston.

Johnson picked up the ball on the halfway line and played two one-twos with team-mates before unleashing a scissors kick from the edge of the box which flew into the net.

Ringmer boss Glenn Burvill said: "It was brilliant. I haven't seen a better goal in non-League football."

Leighton Allen, with the help of a defender, and Warren Byerley also netted for the Blues.

Another cracking goal came from Three Bridges' Sean Campbell as his side drew 1-1 at home to Hassocks.

Pat Harding put the visitors ahead on seven minutes but Campbell equalised with a terrific header from Pat Massaro's cross eight minutes into the second half.

Youngsters Alex Bowell and Paul Joyce impressed for Bridges after being introduced as second-half substitutes.
