Alan Pook believes Withdean's fine away form can help them secure a place in the last 16 of the FA Vase.

Withdean visit Diss Town for a fourth round replay tonight with a trip to Brigg Town awaiting the winners in the next round.

A goal from Clay Lamont deep into extra time earned Withdean a 2-2 draw with Diss at Worthing on Saturday and Pook believes they can finish the job in Norfolk tonight.

He said: "I felt we should have won the game in the 90 minutes on Saturday. They had one chance and they scored from it.

"Diss are by far the best side we have played this season and I am looking forward to the replay because I know we had a few players who under-achieved on Saturday."

Another away trip awaits the winners but Pook is not even thinking about facing Brigg at the moment.

He said: "It is the first time I haven't listened to the draw. I am fully focussed on this game and getting the result we want."

Withdean will be without the suspended Damion Dobbyn but have no other problems for tonight's game. Dobbyn, a substitute on Saturday, will not be replaced as Withdean travel with a 15-man squad.

Burgess Hill have been handed a home tie with Hampshire League premier division leaders Winchester City but manager Danny Bloor is under no illusions about the quality of the opposition.

Although they are one league below the Hillians in the pyramid, Winchester have lost just once in 35 league and cup games this season and they reached the last 16 of the Vase with a 1-0 win at Newcastle Town on Saturday.

Until the start of January, Winchester were managed by former Worthing boss John Robson and Bloor, who played under Robson at Southwick, will be contacting his friend for some information.

Speaking from Spain, where Burgess Hill are on a mid-season break, Bloor said: "I know John Robson very well and I am sure they will be very well organised. I will be ringing John to find out more about them."

Winchester are managed by former Plymouth goalkeeper Neil Hards, who took over when Robson was mysteriously sacked on January 1.
