It is terrible to read about the collapse of Brighton's West Pier.
Would it be possible to salvage the remains of the concert hall to be reconstructed on terra firma?
I have seen old buildings rehoused in North America. It's just an idea in order to avoid probable extinction of this heritage piece.
I grew up in Brighton but have lived abroad since 1967.
