G Brooker (Letters, January 22) is right to draw the taxpaying public's attention to the plight of the council tenants at Denmark Road.
How has Brighton and Hove City Council arrived at such a dire choice?
The tenants might consider asking the council to tell them the full maintenance history of the block(s) and the details of the calculations made to justify any decision to demolish the flats.
If the council was tasked with purchasing a fleet of second-hand cars, which would it go for?
The fleet with a detailed set of vehicle log books or the fleet with no documentation?
