The Sussex Symphony, the local band for semi-professionals and amateurs, celebrates its tenth anniversary with this concert.
Founder and conductor Mark Andrew James will present a programme he describes as a mixture of mischief, mayhem, intense passion and romance.
It comprises Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite No 1m Berlioz' Symphonie Fantastique and Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto - used so effectively in the film Brief Encounter.
Tickets are £12.50 (stalls) and £10.50 (balcony).
They are available by phone on 0870 900 9100 or in person from the town hall or the Brighton Centre.
