Most club nights come and go but Russ Dewbury's Jazz Rooms just keeps going.
Since it was conceived in 1987, this fusion of dancefloor jazz, cosmic soul, underground funk and much, much more, has attracted a large following of discerning clubbers.
Over the years it has played host to the likes of Kyoto, Gilles Peterson and Jazzanova and the line-up for the early part of this year looks strong.
Russ Dewbury's four-hour throwdown on Friday, February 7 should make for a good introduction but any night is worth a punt if you're searching for something different.
It runs from 10pm to 2am. Admission is £5/4 (Friday) £6/5 (Saturday). 01273 674146.
