Natalie Foster avoids Match Of The Day and hasn't been to a match since she was a teenager. But she wouldn't miss Saturday's game at Highbury for the world.
It took Justin Gregory a year to persuade her to come and watch him play football.
But today he comes up against the giants of English football in the David versus Goliath FA cup tie everyone is talking about.
Hove fitness trainer Justin, 26, is a defender with Farnborough FC, the footballing minnows who will take on the Gunners in their own backyard, hoping for a place in footballing history.
More than 150 friends and family will make the journey from Brighton to north London to give Justin a little extra va-va-voom as he tries to stop star striker Thierry Henry from sending the Conference part-timers back home with their tails between their legs.
Natalie, 23, a freelance illustrator from Hangleton, doesn't like football but knows enough to realise this is going to be a big day.
She said: "I've never actually seen Justin play before. But even I know this game is important.
"I knew he was playing in the FA Cup and decided to take an interest when he got through to the fourth round.
"When they beat Darlington, I realised they could be playing someone big.
"We were sitting watching the draw together and he was crossing his fingers they would get a big name. When it was Arsenal, even I knew it was a big deal.
"Justin is really excited and just a little nervous I think. But it will be great fun and obviously I'll be cheering him all the way."
Justin is modest about the fact he is living out every young boy's dream.
Natalie said: "He takes his football seriously but he doesn't talk about it much to me. He's very modest about anything to do with it.
"But, of course, every male friend or family member is going on about it now.
"There are about 150 of Justin's friends and family going up to Highbury tomorrow, just from Brighton alone.
"I don't know any of the other wives or girlfriends from Farnborough so I will be going up with a group of my own friends.
"We will be ushered to the players' lounge after the game and might meet the Arsenal players then, although I will probably only recognise Thierry Henry. Then we'll be going on to a hotel to celebrate."
Natalie isn't interested in programmes such as Footballers' Wives, doesn't go in for designer clothes and prefers a quiet night in with her friends.
She said: "I've never seen that programme, all I know is there is someone called Chardonnay in it. It's not a lifestyle I know at all. Anyway, I'm only Justin's girlfriend.
"I don't know much about football but I will be cheering for Justin every step of the way."
