Albion boss Steve Coppell is looking to Saturday's game with Walsall to improve on his record of picking up a point a game since he took charge of the team last October.
The Seagulls have taken 16 points in 16 matches since Coppell replaced Martin Hinshelwood.
They visit the Bescot Stadium on Saturday still five points from safety knowing a win could lift them off the bottom of the table and above Sheffield Wednesday.
Bradford's win against fourth-bottom Grimsby on Saturday did Coppell a favour but he said: "We must go after wins."
Albion have only won one of their last 11 league games and, although unbeaten in the last four, Coppell knows more victories are needed if his side are to stand a chance of beating the drop.
He said: "It's all about points and we need to try and get some more wins."
