Talk show researchers have contacted residents in Saltdean to talk about asylum-seekers.
Staff from the daily BBC talk show Kilroy, hosted by former MP Robert Kilroy-Silk, have appealed to residents to appear on one of its programmes being filmed on Wednesday.
The researchers want to include people who represent both sides of the argument concerning asylum-seekers being housed in Britain.
The researchers approached residents after 250 people gathered outside the Grand Ocean Hotel in Saltdean on Saturday to urge the Government not to house asylum-seekers there.
A smaller crowd stood opposite, making their own protest at what they described as "scaremongering" towards the foreign refugees.
Most residents at the meeting heaped blame on the Government for its mishandling of the situation and called for more openness on exactly who would be using the hotel.
The Home Office wants to use the Grand Ocean for emergency accommodation despite denying the plan when it was first revealed by The Argus in November last year.
The move is on ice following a storm of protest from residents.
The Kilroy show would be filmed on Wednesday and aired a few days afterwards.
