Reading about the closing of Brighton post offices in Ditchling Road, Havelock Road and Bates Road (The Argus, January 24) made me wonder about pensioners who do not have a bank account and cannot get down to the Co-op in London Road.
The post office at the top of Preston Drove is much too small. Let's keep the post offices open for the people.
As for Ship Street, what is the main post office in Brighton to receive planning applications for? There will be bedlam on the roads if work goes ahead. Brighton and Hove is like a building site - nothing is ever finished.
