Lewes have been rocked by the news that Luke Hurle has given up playing.
The influential Hurle, second top scorer with three goals this year, stepped down as vice-captain before Christmas.
However, his growing work and coaching commitments have now forced him to stop playing altogether.
Lewes skipper Will Champness said: "We are a bit disappointed but it is one of those things and we must get on with it."
On a plus front for Lewes, whose National League division two clash with leaders Bowdon was postponed on Saturday, Ryan Standing is on his way back to fitness after three months out through illness.
East Grinstead's match with Formby was another victim of the weather, the problem being with the opposition travelling to the game.
Horsham's home match with West Witney in the Women's South division one was postponed due to the weather.
