Making the most of digital images is a whole lot easier with the new Wacom Volito graphics tablet.
This pen and tablet is a "must have" piece of kit for anyone with an eye on image manipulation.
The pen allows a far greater degree of control than a conventional mouse and is favoured by graphic designers.
Wacom recognised some users will still feel the need to use both a mouse and a pen/tablet and so the Volito comes complete with a cordless infra-red mouse.
Neither the pen nor the mouse require batteries.
I puzzled over this for a while but discovered Wacom has its own patented "electro-magnetic resonance" technology which makes it all possible.
The device is connected to your PC via a USB port (the same one you used to use for your mouse).
It runs under Windows 98/ME/2000 and XP.
At less than £40 this is great value for money.
Price: £39.95.
Feel-good factor: 9 out of 10.
