Crawley recovered from going a goal behind to win 4-1 at Dr Marten's Eastern opponents Burnham in the league cup and book a place in the fourth round against Chemlsford City.
Arron Lennon gave the home side an early lead with the first meaningful attack after 13 minutes.
Nick McDonnell scored Reds' 17th minute equaliser, hooking the ball into the top left of the net from Peter Fear's corner.
Crawley began to stamp their authority and took the lead in the 35th minute when Danny Hockton laid back to McDonnell for a shot which was parried by Danny Honey before being deflected in by Terry Mitchell for an own goal.
Ben Judge hit the bar with the last attack before the interval but Crawley took command in the second half and extended their lead after 51 minutes when McDonnell ended a cross-field run with a superb left foot shot which flew into the top left corner.
Hockton made it 4-1 on 74 minutes.
The fourth round tie will be played at Broadfield Stadium next Tuesday.
