Mark Knee scored twice as Worthing enjoyed their first win in seven games with a 3-1 Sussex Senior Cup victory at Horsham YMCA last night.
Worthing went in front on 20 minutes when Knee scored with a low shot after good work by Steve Sargent and Wesley Lopez, but Ryan Andrews levelled on 61 minutes, superbly lobbing keeper Matthew May from 25 yards.
Worthing regained the lead nine minutes later when Lopez seized on a pass from substitute Paul Brown to score with a shot which took a deflection off YM's Matt Duffield. Knee sealed Rebels' win from six yards after a curling left-footed pass by Lopez, but a late booking, his fifth of the season, means he faces a one-match ban.
