The creation of a South Downs National Park would considerably reduce the deterioration of our quality of life and protect our precious countryside and wildlife.
If we don't watch out, we will create a concrete jungle from Dover to Land's End, with all its inevitable problems.
And let us encourage our British agricultural and horticultural industries. They are some of the best.
