Eastbourne have lost their last nine games in London Three South East but have a chance to score two successes in 26 hours this weekend.
The priority will be the league trip to Tonbidge Juddian, who themselves can be hauled into relegation danger if Eastbourne and fellow strugglers East Grinstead both win.
Eastbourne have beefed up their pack with prop Dave Webbon, lock Dom Groenen and ball-carrying No.8 Chris Roberts and believe the losing run could be over.
Spokesman Graham Shiret said: "We are running out of league games now and we still need two or three wins.
"Everyone is up for this though. Training has picked up in the last couple of weeks."
Several Eastbourne squad members are on standby to play in Sunday's Sussex Trophy tie at Pulborough when the prize for the winners will be a home clash with Haywards Heath.
Bognor will close to within a point of leaders Chichester in London Four South East if they beat Beccehamians.
Skipper Karl Flynn is so confident he is resting his own sore hamstring with Simon Ellis coming into the back row.
Prop Steve Worthington is away so experienced Dale Stevens is called in.
Flynn said: "It will be a tough game but I can see us winning."
Brighton head to Chichester for Sussex Trophy action on Sunday eager to avenge their narrow defeat at the same ground in last season's competition.
Chi reached the final last season while Brighton skipper Mark Jenkins admits his men are due a good cup run.
