Coach Phil Waghorn hit out at the officials after his Worthing Magic side lost a stormy WBL clash with Brixton.
Magic, missing star player Kirsty Dallas, went down 63-44, though they bounced back a day later to win 55-48 at Swindon.
Waghorn was ejected from the Brixton game, as was Christie Rourke, as patience wore thin.
The Worthing coach said: "The refereeing was abysmal. We had a player bitten on the hand and another who lost a tooth.
"There were things going on all the way through the game. It's the poor side of basketball when you get a team who foul every time they can.
"They had three fouls in the first minute but refs can't maintain that pace.
"We played next day at Swindon and it makes you sure you are right when you see a game called like that one was.
"If those refs had done the Brixton game there would have been 100 fouls."
Magic only had six players at Swindon but they all stepped up, most notably Sarah Cooper (16 points) and Louise Waghorn (14).
