I am appalled that a city with the importance of Brighton and Hove has lost its coach station.
Brighton and Hove City Council has been very short-sighted in not recognising the need for a modern facility a long time ago and ensuring it was provided.
Other towns and cities are much better served than us yet the council is supposed to consider our city the place to be.
The council missed the ideal opportunity to ensure a new coach station was incorporated into the proposed development on the Brighton station site.
This would have been an ideal example of integrated transport planning of which we hear so much yet has been so lacking in public policy.
